Situated in the lovely surroundings of the Elysian Tirumala Hills, and around 17 kms from Araku Valley is found a beautiful paradise for all adventure and travel enthusiasts, by the name of Anantagiri. Ensconced in the surroundings of the Eastern Ghats, Anantagiri is a lovely hill station in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. With the beauty of the place attracting every person this is surely the best place for all pilgrims, lovers, tourists and is a must see spot in tours to India. A perfect retreat for summer months this is a great paradise in the southern part of India.

The sights of the apple orchards and the wild flowers enthrall the tourists totally and the beautiful streams that rush down the mountain side only complement the beautiful travels here. With the Himalayan ranges capped with snow making travels immensely interesting, the exquisite views of  a great travel destination is what makes the place so memorable in travels here. Anantagiri is a place where you have many places to visit and the Araku Valley is surely one of the major places here. Around 115 km from the district of Vishakanapatnam in the state of Andhra Pradesh this is very close also to the border of Orissa. This valley is a beautiful paradise with a lot of hills and valleys and with the best kind of weather and the natural ambience of the valley is really filled with the best landscape sights ever. The entire valley is around 36 km and the height is around 600 to 900 m above the sea level.

Bheemunipatnam Beach lies at a distance of around 24 km from the city of Vishakapatnam and is situated in the mouth of the river Gosthani. A very good place for swimmers, this beach is a great way of unwinding in the beautiful surroundings of greenery and visual delights. The travel from Bheemunipatnam and Vishakapatnam is very adventurous.

Also go to the Borra Caves which is around 90 – 95 km from the city of Vishakapatnam and is a greatly historical and religious destination. tourists come here and enjoy the delights of historical sights here.

Then there is Simhachalam which is around 16 kms from Vishakapatnam and is a place famous for the Sri Varaha Lakshminarasimha. The temple here has great attractions and is really one that is a must see in tours to Andhra Pradesh.

Then visit the Ramakrishna Beach which is one of the loveliest beaches on the eastern coast is an enchanting resort and a relaxing destination for the tourists visiting Vishakapatnam. Visit Rishikonda Beach which is a great destination for swimmers and which is surely the perfect place to visit for all water skiers, wind surfers etc. tourists enjoy the picturesque surroundings here and find  this beautiful destination a great way of unwinding .

Then there is Dolphin’s Nose which is a huge rock around 357 m high and is shaped like the nose of a dolphin. Jutting out into the sea, this forms a headland on which there is a lighthouse. This lighthouse has a beam that is seen around 65 km out at the sea.

The Venkateswara Konda is a fascinating temple that is dedicated to the Lord. It is said that it was constructed by Captain Blackmoor, an Englishman, sometime in 19th century. From the top of the hill you can see the port channel which is the main entry point for the inner harbour for all the liners and the ships.

Then you have the vuda Park and the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park which are great green paradise places in tours to South India. the best place to visit Anantagiri is all the year round. The nearest airport is Vishakapatnam and the nearest railway station is Srikakulam. It is also approachable by road.
