There are many ultimate destinations to be visited in Africa. Here we are listing the cities and best places to visit in these cities.


The Mozambique Island is the World Heritage Site according to UNESCO. This island was the capital of a former Portuguese colony in the eastern coastal region of Africa. There are many historical buildings in this region. The most prominent structure being the ‘chapel of our lady’ of the bulwarks. This magnificent structure was created in 1522. In the whole of the southern hemisphere this is the oldest structure still standing tall.

The most beautiful and serene beaches of the world are in Pemba beaches. Here you can see many coral reefs and take part in water sport activities along these beaches. There are also some of the most interesting buildings so be visited. It is truly a Caribbean experience in Africa. And there is no one better than Pemba islands to grant you this once in a life time opportunity.

Tofo has the best collection of marine life in Africa. This includes the Whale sharks and the manta rays. It is also a great place for diving. The beautiful sun rise and sun set on the clean and serene beaches are awe inspiring.

A group of five islands form the tropical paradise of Bazaruto Archipelago. These islands have stunning beaches with soft sands, clear blue waters. One can enjoy the adventure activities of diving and snorkeling. Also colorful birds of the region will brighten your day.

The city of Tangier has a lot of history and charm to it. The perfect nightlife can be had what with the plethora of restaurants and nightclubs in tangier. There are also some amazing beaches were you can get cozy under the bright sun.

Agadir has some nice golf courses for the individuals with the sporting acumen to relax and enjoy. It also has some of the most stunning beaches in the whole of morocco.

One can visit the tomb of Sultan Moulay Ismail in Mekens. He was the one who built most of the monuments in the city. Most of these prized monuments are at the city gates. Meknes is one of the imperial cities. Roman ruins found at the Volubilis are well preserved and not far away from the city and are well worth the visit.

One of the four imperial cities of morocco is Rabat. It is a good place to visit because of the Royal Palace situated here. Make sure to visit this sight on Friday mornings during the guard change ceremony. Its sister city Sale is just as beautiful as Rabat. The city of Rabat is over flowing with historical sites.

The third city of the imperial cities of Morocco is Fez. This is the birthplace of Fez cap and it is home to the largest medieval city in the world. Fez is also the medieval capital city of Morocco.

The last of the imperial cities is Marrakech. It is well known for its festivals and markets. The atmosphere of the fairs are mystic to say the least with magicians, snake charmers, acrobats, musicians and storytellers enchanting the visitors.
