Places of Attraction in Salvador

El Salvador is a beautiful region to visit in this part of the world in Central America and offers some of the best sights and travel delights . Visit this beautiful locale and come back enchanted with the beauty of the surroundings and simple pleasures of a lost land. One of the biggest cities here is the Santa Ana which is a very pleasant place to visit and is best explored by foot. This is an old region with a lot of impressive structures and ambience. The Theatre is a magnificent structure here with the best of interiors and the most fascinating of architectural evidences. With the coffee plantations forming a perfect background, this cathedral lying in the main square is surely worth a look and all the visitors coming here enjoy getting ensconced in the narrow alleys of the market place.

The Parque Nacional Los Volcanes is another beautiful region in this part of the world and is a great place to go on a hike. A four hour walk would take you to the crater rim of a volcano and tourists get enchanted to be in a volcanic region which has erupted only five years ago. There is an incredible view from the top and all the tourists climb up to the Volcan Santa Ana post.

Then visit the Ruta de las flores which is another beautiful region criss crossed by villages and a laid back ambience. This is that part of the country that really should have more people coming in, just to visit the simple ambience of a lost paradise. The lovely and gorgeous looking waterfalls of Los Chorros de la Calera is a lovely sight here and normally visitors hike up to Juaya in tours here. Enjoy splashing in the waterfall and marvel the sights of the pretty towns here which lie along the route and which really make your visits here very memorable. As you go in and out of the cafes here you would surely have many reasons to come back here for yet another vacation.

Then you have San Salvador the capital which is really a must stop in tours to El Salvador. This is in fact the most popular halts in tours here and everyone waits to have a look at the tomb of Archbishop Romero who got assassinated at the beginning of the 12 years civil war and lies today buried in the city’s cathedral. Visit the central municipal market here and it is well worth an exploration. It is really hard to find out where the market begins and where it ends. It is as if the entire city’s streets are occupied by this market. The noise and the smells of the market occupy your attention always.

Visit the beautiful colonial town of Suchitoto which lies to the north of the country and it would surely be a great hotspot that you could have visited here in the beautiful confines of the Central part of America. It is a very small region to visit and can be covered by a gentle stroll and looks beautiful in the background of the scenic Lake Suchitlan. This is a town that surely has some of the best hotels in the entire country and has some of the best boutique hotels too.

Suchitoto is a place that has some of the best trails and has beautiful and memorable sights to take back. Tourists love to see the Los Tercios which is a geological wonder and has a strange wall of hexagonal rocks. with an impressive waterfall this is surely a lovely tourist locale and a beautiful destination filled with rocky terrains and fascinating water bodies. There are motor boat rides across the Lake Suchitlan and as tourists cross the tiny villages , the tours here really are interesting. Then of course you have the San Luis del Carmen which is a calm and serene spot with quite lanes winding their way along the hillside and beautiful ambience dominating the background.

Go to La Libertad which is another lovely region to visit in Pacific port region. this was once a very rough region and was the main target of gang wars and today it has improved a great deal and has created an environment that is very attractive to all the tourists and families.

There are many other places to visit in Salvador and it truly is a dream destination for many .
