Restuarants
There are really many for you to choose from, which can confuse you. So, know them from first so that you can decide upon an entry as per your taste. El Manglar, the AC one, offers international buffets for all the three meals, while Arrecifes is an open-air choice for all the three with dinner featuring the delicious salad bar.
An AC, Mexican-décor restaurant is Los Caporales offering a la carte menu. Its specialties include the salad of mixed vegetable, soup of lime and beans cream, and dessert like rice pudding and chocolate cake. Do not forget, there is a dress code here for men: closed shoes, long pants, and collar shirts.
At the Palapa Delfines, enjoy the salad bar as well as the lunch buffet amidst the open-air, poolside location. If you like a sushi bar, head to the Palapa Pelicanos. For some really tasty coffee, the Sweet and Coffee, a great coffee shop, is the best. Opened from morning to late night, it is also known for its pastries.
One more air-conditioned restaurant is the Bugambilias offering breakfast, lunch buffets, and dinner with Mexican buffet. This also has the dress code as mentioned above for the Los Caporales. Try out its Cheese or Lime soups as well as chef-selected desserts. Momonohana is also air-conditioned, but this one is an authentic Asian-style restaurant demanding the same dinner dress code. Check out for its Cheese-banana kebob, spring roll, Miso and Mushroom-tofu soups, as well as desserts like tempura banana, ginger pie, and fresh lychees.
Palapa Barracuda, an open-air eatery, is an expert in a la carte breakfast as well as dinner and lunch buffet. Taste its salad of mixed greens, soups of cuban lentil and Cream of corn, and vegetarian lasagne. Want to have Italian dinner amidst the stained-glass ceiling and live music of piano? If yes, La Gondola is your choice.
