You will be motivated to survive. Exposed to the 107 degree of heat and within few minutes your body will start to dehydrated. At that moment, you will even reconsider to drink alcohol you brought with you. The festival is held purposely to such setting of location so visitors would have a mind altering experience. They go through the harshness of life and know hardship of living.
You are, at this point, to create as well as experience. In Burning Man event, everyone is part of the community formed here, so no one is a spectator. Come and experience a different life that is beyond racial discrimination and teaches you self-reliance. Who knows you might even find your soul mate and sit underneath a parasol.
In Burning Man, you do burn a man imitation carved out of the wood. The entire environment, at that moment, is different and it feels like an epiphany, beginning of new start. The experience brings an individual to a complete different level of understanding.
At the end of the festival of Burning Man, the community formed is dismantled. Whatever you built it with and used, leaves with you. The entire location is left without leaving a trace of your existence here. The desert is left in its pristine condition.
Though you won’t leave any trace, wastes, and things, you brought with you here, however, you will leave with a world you created. On your way back to home, you will have new hopes and different outlook towards life. You will completely be transformed from the previous you. As it is said – burning man journey at its end is a new beginning.
