With the lovely species of birds and animals here, the Someshwara Wildlife sanctuary and the Kudremukh National Park form a main attraction here. As the name suggests Kudremukh means the face of a horse. Located in the Chikmagalur district this is a trek that takes you from Samse and then you would reach Lobo Mane, and then Kaikamaba. This is a beautiful place located between Navoor and Belthangady. There is a great diversity of flora and fauna in Kudremukh and an absolutely fascinating wildlife too. Kurinjal
This is another beautiful trekking zone in Karnataka and is filled with the best touring pleasures. There are two routes one through the Bhagavathi forest check point and the other from .Mala village. Kodachadri

This is the same peak which is also believed to have been made pure by Adishankaracharya who has meditated here and has been witness to the Sarvajna Peeth. The Mookambika temple, the Hidlumane waterfall and the Arasigundi falls are famous here.
Edakumeri
This is different trek and as you start the trek on the railway track the difference seeps in. Get through the green route filled with best sights of forests and tunnels and see how the entire place seems to come alive.
Then there is Tadiyandamol, which is in Coorg and is a lovely land with the sights of the Bhagmandal, Nagara Hole and the Abbey falls. With the mountains and streams forming a great sight also see the Nalku Naadu Aramane which is an old palace.

Bananathimari means mother nursing a baby. It is between the Kunthanahalli and Konanadoddi and is a lovely valley filled with the best hilly locales.
