Humayun’s tomb located near the India Gate and Saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya tomb in Delhi, is a synthesis of Persian and Indian style building, and offers a excellent view of the surrounding countryside from its terraces. Humuyaun was the eldest and favourite son of Emperor Babar and ascended the throne when he was just 22, becoming the second ruler of the Mughal dynasty.
